Just because data is bound to geographical places doesn’t mean you should map it!
Maps tell stories relative to geographical closeness, highlighting patterns of contrasting neighbors or homogeneous zones. If your story is not about these, consider a better choice.
Where do my customers come from? Do they travel a lot or are they in the neighborhood?
Mapchart can be used to identified zones or pin information.
